I tell people this - if something went wrong with your camera and the repair would cost $300 or more, can you afford that, or, would your camera go unused because you couldn’t afford it at all? I think renters insurance covers you in case of theft or fire but I don’t think it’s going to help you if your camera malfunctions or if you damage your gear while shooting on location. read more
