I’ve heard that all cell phone numbers recently went public, and the only way to avoid getting telemarketer calls is by registering your cell phone with the national Do Not Call registry. There’s an email going around, warning people they must register their cell phone numbers with the national Do Not Call list to avoid telemarketers’ calls. The most recent one came last week, stating “cell phone numbers are being released tomorrow to telemarketers” and advising people to join the DNC list.
